QAQG Community Outreach
QAQG’s mission includes making community outreach projects available for member participation. Members can choose to become involved in any project of interest to them.
QAQG accepts donations of new and like-new fabric, batting and sewing supplies for use with the community service projects. Contact the Guild President for more information. Members can get fabric and batting for outreach projects by contacting the Outreach Coordinator.
Members can help make quilts for any of the current projects by joining the Outreach Workgroup that meets monthly. Presently, the group meets on the third Monday of each month at Boulder Valley Christian Church (BVCC), following the board meeting, for about three hours. Email reminders notify guild members of the date and time of day. Everyone is invited to participate in a variety of quilting tasks. Bring basic sewing supplies. Sewing machines are an option. Quilts made by members, individually, are also very welcome. Contact the Outreach Coordinator for additional information.
