Established in 1988, St. Vrain Habitat is located in Longmont. Flatirons Habitat (Boulder) was established in 1993. Both are local affiliates of Habitat for Humanity International. They are local people, businesses, civic groups and churches who are working side-by-side to improve the living conditions of deserving families who would be unable to own a home otherwise. Habitat’s work provides a tangible outcome of a home for a hard-working family, and an intangible benefit, which may have even greater implications, building our community by bringing people together from all walks of life for a common purpose.
A quilt from QAQG will be presented to each family at the ceremony when they are given the keys to their new home.
